amp capacitor help please!!!

no the alternater puts out 14.4 volts and amps are tested at 14.4 volts so if you can get the power ther it works better . the cap will help hold some volts so the alternater has time to charge the system back up.....no the cap wont change the voltage ....less stress on the allternater and more stable volts .

no the alternater puts out 14.4 volts and amps are tested at 14.4 volts. the cap holds volts but wont change it.so less stress on alternater.gives it more time to charge back up. if your head light are dimming so is your amp.

i have a memphis belle amp and you wil like kill altenator without a cap..so i think caps work...you just dont need one unless you are actually pulling some power...i have a second battery and 1gauge wire to my cap and amp with one 15inch kicker comp...its in a 93 ford f350 extended cab...

i have a 500 watt amp and my lights dim......wont that lessen the life of my alt. ? i thought that what caps. were for?
