alpine type r or alpine type s?
which would be louder 1 10" alpine type r or 2 12" alpine type s.i have a 91 reg cab so i dont have much airspace.any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you have the mounting depth for the Type R's so that should answer your question.
If you do have the mounting depth, proper power and extra money then the Type R's are obviously the better sub?

trust me, even if you move the seat all the way up, you'll have enough mounting depth for the type-r, but you'll not have enough air space for the sub (meaning, the box wont be big enough and it wont sound good).... i think two 12 inch alpine type s subs would be louder than one 10 type-r, because you'll be moving more air space if you have the right sized box....
