Alpine PDX-V9...what subs?
I've decided to get this 900W 5 channel amp but I'm not sure what subs will be the most compatible. This amp is 4x100 and 1x500.
I want to go with two SWR-843D (4ohms, 300RMS, 8in) subs but im not sure if this is something i shouldn't do because the amp is 1x500. I've heard I can have these types of amps bridged to support two subs but is this true? Is there any risk with this type of setup?
The amp is actually rated closer to 600Wx1 so the watts should be fine.
