Alpine DSP Controller Install

Alpine DSP Controller Install
This got placed at the end of my other long thread so I thought I'd start over. The Alpine PXA-H800 is fully installed now and working great. Lots more tweaking to do but so far I'm happy. I got the controller (required with the factory HU) installed Friday but cleaned up the install yesterday. Turned out pretty good I think. This was the best place I could find to mount but am open to better suggestions.

Slow! My goodness at the options. Biggest problem is Imprint EQ seems to really dampen the overall volume. My input gain is at 7/10, HU volume at 75%, PXA master volume at 85%, and amp gains at 2:00 and it still should go louder. I hate feeling like everything is almost maxed. I may get new speakers too. My 5 1/4 JBL components don't seem to be handling everything but they were fine with the Cleansweep.

@etazeta - what size are the factory tweeters or can you measure the opening in the a-pillar for me? Thinking about buying the factory a-pillar trim with tweeter holes rather than build pods.
Thanks in advance!
