Default All new sound but what do YOU think???

I am ripping all the old stuff out. I have already installed 2 10" subs and the amp. Now i'm looking at components; I used Crutchfield just because it's easier, not necessarily where I am going to buy from.

What I want is components in the front and coax's in the back. I think components all the way around would be a bit much inside the truck...ideas? I'm not looking to shake the block but what I want is high-quality sound

Here's what I'm looking at: (in no particular order)

1. http://www.crutchfield.com/s_091165K...DynamicContent

2. http://www.crutchfield.com/s_114HP65...ORID114&tp=106

3. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...n_US&p_status=

The focal's are nice!! But not worth $1200 unless you spend alot of time in your truck.. I went with JL Audio component front and 2-way for the rear.. $489 bucks.. These 4 speakers/ 2 tweeters sound better than my 7 speaker bose system in the escalade..

That would be a great setup though.. Not a fan of RF's...

Yeah there is no way I would pay that much for any of these, I just used Crutchfield because their site is pretty detailed.

I have used Diamond in the past and love it, haven't used Focal....yet. Have you?
I am not a fan of RF either but one of the stereo shop guys spent 20 min on the phone telling me how bad *** the new POWER series line is from RF, so i thought I'd give them some consideration.

So much for loyalty, haha. But I've heard that also and the guy that talked my ear off about the RF's yesterday mentioned that but wasn't too sure...

I hope that they make some throw backs and improve; the old stuff was incredible!

Well, after lots of research, calling and buggin' people and more research...here is "The List" if anyone was interested.

Front-
3-Way set up
Hybrid Audio Technologies (HAT)

L8SE Midbass- http://www.hybrid-audio.com/Legatia%20L8SE.pdf

L4SE Midrange- http://www.hybrid-audio.com/Legatia%20L4SE.pdf

L Pro R2 Tweeter- http://www.hybrid-audio.com/Legatia%20L1%20Pro%20R2.pdf

Rear-
2-Way Set up- HAT again

HAT Clarus 2-Way- http://www.hybrid-audio.com/clarus_two_way.htm

Throwing around the idea of installing the tweeters in the ceiling, off-axis. I know this may shorten the width of the sound but I am not competing so it should be okay...we'll see.

Amps-
Arc Audio

SE4100 (2 each for components for) http://www.arcaudio.com/productdescr...ion/se4100.asp

SE4200 (1 each for subs) http://www.arcaudio.com/productdescr...ion/se4200.asp

Headunit-
Pioneer DEX-P99RS w/ iPod cable, Bluetooth, Sirius and steering wheel controls
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-E3xsf5S...ccessoryAnchor
Not buying from Crutchfield, just using the link

Subs-
Arc Audio Black Series pair of 10" with custom built & covered box to match interior
http://store.arcaudio.com/products/p...99.0.0.0?pp=8&

Wires/blocks/terminals/etc-
Tsunami 1/0 Power & Ground
5 sets of X20 RCA's

Rest of install-

- Front will get custom vented kickpanels, custom brackets for mids and tweeters if installed in door, tweeters my go into the sails...haven't decided yet.
- Sound deaden interior(Alpha Damp)- doors and floor; Did the roof when the moonroof was fixed.
- Custom bracket for Edge CTS programmer in the place of the ashtray. (flow through console)
- Snaps or zipper sewn onto fabric that is shown when the back seat arm rest is folded down and all 3 amps installed so that if they need adjusted or if fuse blows, I can unsnap/unzip the fabric and get to the amps.
- Upgrade (1/0) all power & ground wires
