Believe it or not, it will actually make the sound stage seem a little higher.
Really not being a ****, but he will already have 4 tweeters up front, now adding these would be 6 tweeters just up front, and probably not a matching one either. To each their own but I want to be able to enjoy my music, not just make my ears bleed. Parts-express has quite a few budget 6.5 speakers that will blow away what he is using matched with a good tweeter.

To the op, fiberglassing can cost a lot, I'm guessing you have done this before though? I just know for the money and time you put into a decent set of door panels you could instead by a good set of speakers installed properly in the door and have much greater results. I have ran two sets of speakers up front twice, first in my old car running the Infinity Kappa 6.5 comp set and jesus I couldn't stand listening to it, after that I installed a single set of Hertz Hi Energy XL components in the stock location after deadening the crap out of the door and panel and it blew the infinity's away. The second time I ran two pairs of Hertz Mille 6.5 mids with a Mille tweeter and it was an experience. Multiple cheap speakers just make more noise, a good set of speakers will get just as loud, stay clear, and make every day driving much more enjoyable. Just my opinion. Take your time fiberglassing and remember sanding is the most important part depending on how you finish them.

Unless I missed something, he will only have a total of 4 tweeters with. A set inside the coaxials themselves and the extra pair higher up. Again, I'm not saying this is the best route but the question was can he? When I responded with my initial response I was speaking from experience. Back in my competition days I actually ran a set of seperates in the lower part of my front doors with another set of matched crossed over tweeters wired -3db using the same amp. And those were mounted nice and high in the mirror pillars. With this set up I actually won many shows (sound quality) in USAC, IASCA, NIASCA and GASCA. To include placing 1st in my class at the 1995 NIASCA championship and 3rd at the 1995 GASCA championship. And I have the Audio Control Spike jacket with my name and 1995 NIASCA amateur 101-250 champion embroidered on it. Later when kick panels came of age, I moved the door components from the doors into custom made kicks and kept the second set of tweeters but moved them into custom made a pillar pods where I went on to win many more shows to include placing 5th in the consumer 151-300 watt class 1996 USAC championship. Also, I am the 1994 FL state champion in the amateur 101-250 watt class when the speakers were in the previuos set up. But that was back then and this is now, that's why now I'm just doing components in my kicks in my 06 F150.

Maybe I misunderstood the original post, OP are you running one speaker in each door or two? If only one, why are you even going to fiberglass them instead of leaving them in the factory spot? If you say just for looks I give up.

I agree, but to each their own. Personally I'm all about looks but more importantly, my pockets are deep enough for there not to be something to benefit it from. That's why I'm using these......

The speakers in this picture is of Polk Components. That is why there is a tweeter there. If you have coax speakers there is no need for an extra tweeter. Like myself and others have said before get yourself a good set of components. Only one set per door.

I'll be getting kicker ks35 which are a 3.5" coaxial to put in the tweeter spot. I've done stuff like this before for friends and it's really simple. I know the photo is of components, but I do not have those or the extra money to buy a new set so I'm using what I already have. My only question is how do I wire in another set of speakers when I only have the one harness?

Technically they will need their own crossover and their own amp channels for power to do it correctly, you never want to mix speaker types on the same channel. Now what a lot of people will do is simply buy a set of cheap tweeters and just wire them in to the door speakers which most likely will work and probably won't hurt anything since I've seen it done too many times but it will cause weird impedance to the power source. Maybe someone else can be of more help to this but I guess I should have just started with it will end up costing just as much as anything else mentioned by the time you have a decent tweeter and crossover.

Kicker KS35 speakers are direct replacements for factory dash speakers and most likely don't have grills and are not made for what you want to do but if you insist on using them instead of listening to professionals with years of experience then you should you put them on the front channel and the other coax speakers on the rear channel. You could also just wire both pair in parallel and run 2 ohms to your head unit. If you don't know what 2 ohms are then you probably should take it somewhere and have them do it correctly for you. Enjoy the crappy sound either way. It's your rig.
