I would stick with a name brand from a store near you.

Search the threads for the Kenwood system with sync integration.
And try and find a good shop to help you with it. Nothing more frustrating than fighting with it later...
Good luck- show us what you come up with.

Does your truck have the Sony sound system?

Post up some pics please. Maybe a quick video as well.

K, here's a few photo's i took.
Nav1 = system off
Nav2 = radio display - same display for Sat. the very top bar displays the time and ext temp
Nav3 = loading maps...if u wait a few before switchin to maps, you won't get this screen
Nav4 = Map display...has day/nite view. can hilite resturants, gas stations, street name, speed limit (the system will tell you if your speeding..) plus other options
Nav5 = Phone display
all the above work with my steering wheel controls, fully integrated with sync

if you have questions, ask and I"ll see if i can answer.

Why not go with a name brand?
Parts on back order is not a good sign.

I found them in stock for 800 bucks online. All we all need to do is figure out how to make it work on the Sony system.

Note: The CS FD1030-P11 only works in 2009-up Ford F-150 trucks that were factory-equipped with the SYNC® system. It is not compatible with non-SYNC® and Sony audio system equipped vehicles

Hey Odiesk,

I just purchased this unit and am curious how you are liking it. I should have mine within a week or so and looking forward to getting it. Any tips or tricks for install? Did you install the backup camera? If so how difficult was that.

Thanks!
