Hello all. Just wondering if anyone has any info or update on the Advent OE unit? It looks cool, but no price?

I considered it but couldn't find any reviews on it. Nice look though.

I got mine for $399 shipped off ebay BRAND NEW! It is a SICK piece. I cannot say enough good things about its and it even comes with a back up camera. The features are great, it retains Sync and the steering wheel controls. Install is straight forward with no cutting of wires and gives that factory look and feel. It takes the place of the sync display which is nice because the screen is higher up. Another cool feature is when the truck is put in reverse, the camera comes on and the radio mutes. VERY COOL tech.

No need... I thought I would have to ground something out like on my last one, but the first time you use the AV source you will get a notice that this is not legal in some states and to look at your laws. After that, smooth sailing. I just had SNL playing on the way to work. SWEET!!!

Leave that one as recommended by the install sheet. One you accept the warning message the 1st time you will never have to worry about that again. I have video playing all the time.

Smile Advent Nav install

I'm thinking of purchasing the Advent Nav for my '11 F150 Lariat. I couldn't order a nav because of the meltdown and this one seems to be straight forward on the install, after talking to Walt at ADC. What a great person to deal with and since I don't have a shop anywhere near me, it's good to know someone is there to help, if I buy it. My question is has anyone been able to have the supplied bezel wrapped to match the wood grain of the Lariat? I agree it's not the greatest looking wood grain, but I like to stick with the factory colors, etc. Thanks for any help anyone can give and thanks for all the posts. They have been very informative.

The best and cheapest way would look on ebay for a used oem woodgrain radio panel for oe navi radio and get a mount kit for the aftermarket radio.
