They ran the wires through the door grommets.... If you need more info, let me know...

I have only heard the JL C5-570x speakers but saw on here a mention of the Image Dynamics CTx57; I do know the price is way far apart...

I used to have some ID 10" subs that were phenomenal. Wonder if any of you have heard a comparison of the two speakers for rear door F150.

Clarity is the most important thing for me in my truck music.

Some of the fords have molex plugs on the front. I have a 2012 lariat and I have the molex plugs. So I spliced in under the front door siles and used factory wires from there. Should be fine depending on how much power your are running to the front speakers.
