I was kinda dissapointed because no one did.
Well the truck is pretty well insulated to keep road noise out. The Dynamat is also a thick insulator which keeps the stereo noise in, it does an excellent job at that. When I dynamated my car on my last setup, with the windows up and cranked it, it did very well at keeping the bass inside the car. That amp was hitting for 600RMS. When i put the windows down, it was a different story. That was on a ported box, so it was just for loudness and it really drowned the vocals out. Sealed boxes do very well at keeping more of a balanced / cleaner hit, I prefer sealed.

What are your thoughts on how it sounds? The lack of bass/treble on the stock speakers just has me shaking my head. I want something that can hit inside the car, not so much that it drowns the vocals. I'm done with the whole hear me from 1/2 mile away setups.
I will say this kicker system is very nice. I can hear the highes very clear without the bass drowning it out. Like you. I use to have the system you could hear mile away. I had 4 15in in ranger ext cab. I would hit 158.6db. Now I just upgraded the amp on the kicker setup for 2 reason. Better control over bass and make it bass alot harder when I want it to.

I'm pretty pleased with it. A lot of the time I can feel it more than here it. On songs with a base riff, the is a good transition from the sub to the door speakers. All the notes ar the same volume.

Damn that's a hard hitting setup.

What kind of amp are you running now, watts? Is it on the stock 10" that comes with the kit?
