? About idatalink maestro
Want to upgrade hu to kenwood and saw that the idatalink maestro keeps all sync functions and sirius radio. My question is do you have to purchase controll for steering wheel or is it controled from programing the maestro. Thanks

My understanding is it is controlled by programing and works with the factory controls. That is why it is so popular with ford sync owners

Hi,
You only need one module and a T-harness.
The satellite radio limitation is no longer present if you wait for the 2013 navigation radios to reach the market. These will be shipping in the next week or so to the market and our software for them will be up within 2 weeks.
You will need to purchase an add on satellite radio tuner as your tuner is inside the factory radio that gets removed (assuming you have a late model F-Series PU). The brand new 2013 (with new dash) is not compatible.
The new software also enables the secondary display to be retained and puts meta data from all the sources there.
Contact us directly and we can answer any questions you have.
Thanks!

It is for 2012 Kenwood models where we connect to the Sat Radio port. If you wait for a 2013 model this cable is not required..
See picture of back of 2013 model below.
