Default 98 Lariat Xtra cab head unit replacement

I have the F75F-19b165-da head unit, which has an 8-pin long rectangular plug, and a 16 pin smaller rectangular plug. This model does have the auto set button, and an external CD changer. What make and model number of harness would I need to install an aftermarket HU (don't needed the changer anymore). I can't find any wiring diagrams, nor do I know if the 8-pin connector is just for the CD player, etc. I don't want to order the wrong things!

Image it looks like either a Metra 70-5600, or a 70-5603 (same, but RCA instead of speaker level. Amp bypass harnesses are also available.

Looks like the 70-5603 would foot the bill, since my head unit has 2 sets of RCA jacks. Never knew this unit had an external amp (while it had 5x7 full range speakers, meaning really low power for an external amp, so why did Ford bother?). I'll try the preamp to amp method first, and if not satisfactory, I'll go for the amp bypass.

Many Thanks for having the right part number!
