Default Front speakers for 2020 SCREW with B&O

I am about to do a front stage upgrade but am uncertain what is the best speaker for the front doors in the $300-$400 price range. Since I am unable to listen to anything in person it seems just a big punt as to which way to go, like with JL, FOCAL, Hertz, Morel, or Kicker brand models in that price range. Does any brand/model in that price range shine more than another? I am open to 6x9 or 6.5".

I understand this is a bit subjective! I am just looking for better sound at lower volumes. I listen to just about any type of music so my taste is all over the place if that matters.

Current Plan:

Upgrade 1 will be front speakers with attention to sound deadening and a Kicker key 200.4.
Upgrade 2 will be upgraded rear speakers.
Upgrade 3 Kicker key 500.1 and subwoofer upgrade TBD.

Another question, when sound deadening the doors, with this lower wattage amp is it worthwhile installing a plate on that big access hole?

We have several plug-and-play options for your truck to upgrade just the speakers and even in steps. Here are a few options:
https://soundsgoodstereo.com/collect...eaker-packages

The door access block-off plates will make a substantial difference and you want to make it the correct material. Since the plates need to be non-porous (do not absorb moisture), you will not be able to stick anything to them to add density. We have tested many types of materials for this application and finding the correct rigidity + density was a tough challenge. Too rigid without density (ABS for example) and the panel itself would act like a speaker and resonate. A lot of density but not so rigid (entry-level recycled HDPE), the panel does not create a solid enough "enclosure" so your mid-bass is better, but not optimum. Then the last step is to ensure the company provides Zinc coated screws to ensure they do not corrode with the aluminum. Our plates if you decide to go this route, which we highly recommend, have all of these factors, testing, and real-world results/reviews to back it up. Here is a link and you can read the reviews from other users.

Thanks, that's some details I had not considered on block off plates. I will take a look at your products.
