Default 8" L7 subs

Well its time.....i have a super crew and will be throwing 2 8" subs and wondering if anyone has heard these speakers in a truck ? I will be running a kicker amp or a ma audio amp also have a clarion double din already....any input on the sound i should expect out of these and possible door speakers ? What is the max depth for front and rear speakers thanks for the input

I'd skip the L7s and get two full size 10s.

Vehicle Speakers
Location Size Depth
Front 1 6X8 4
Rear 1 6X8 3.75

My buddy has a shop and builds sema vehicle and bs like that and he says he can make me a box with those speakers that hit as hard as 2 good 10s without having to mess with my back seats......plus got a good deal on them ! Just wondering if peeps have heard them in a truck before

i had a friend with 4 L7 12" in an extended cab it pounded i know not what u were lookin for lol iam a JL audio fan but some lil squares wouldnt sound bad with the right power to them. go for it

You can put 2 good 10s in without messing with your seat. The only reason you can get the L7 8s even kind of loud is the 450W RMS power handling, the 83.6 dB sensitivity is low.
