i have alpine type s speakers right now and they were great speakers for the first 3 years i had them and now they are shot. I'm lookin for somethin alittle more powerful now so i thought maybe upgrading to the alpine type r's. My question is, can i get away with this without getting a speaker amp? i understand that these speakers are pretty powerful and most people amp them.. if so then i guess i might just get type s's again or if you guys have any suggestions on good speakers im all ears
