Default 400w too much?

The amp in my truck recently blew a cap so im using that as an excuse to upgrade. this is what im looking at

KICKER TCVT10 2-Ohm 10" Enclosure sub

Pioneer GM-D7400M Car Amplifier Class D Mono 800 Watts

i have a 94 F-150 XLT single cab... any thought on that setup? think it will be too much for that small of a space?

i mostly listen to rock/alt rock and metal

I wish I knew about this setup a few months ago! dude that's a perfect setup for a truck! and you can always turn the "gain" down and it'll run nice and cool... I listen to mostly Avenged Sevenfold and could use just a little more on the bass guitar and double bass pedal hits and that setup would do it... if ya grab that stuff enjoy! it'd be a little cheaper than what I paid for my setup.
