4 Kicker ks68 or 2/2?
I have been wanting to get kicker ks68's for my truck for awhile now and was reading about the Alpine KTP-445, which got me even more interested. I read where several users had great results with their ks68's being powered with the ktp-445, but whenever I have asked a few people they said it would not be smart to have 4 coaxial (ks68) speakers and would recommended using the ks68 in the rear door and a set of component speakers in the front for better sound quality? Just wondering how do 4 ks68 sound in yall's trucks or should I just do 2 coaxial and 2 component? I listen to country and rap mostly. Thanks.

Country and rap? Wow - you sound like me! 
I would go with the components up front, and coaxials in the rear. The front components are just as easy to install as the rears - if you're not amping them, you won't need the component crossover because the factory head unit already has the tweeters crossed over. Keep the aftermarket crossovers though - if you replace the factory head unit, you need to use the crossover.
Whatever you choose - it's going to sound much better than the factory system. It's night and day.
I would go with the components up front, and coaxials in the rear. I have 4 coaxial KS68s at about 80w RMS each they sound great, they are just my highs since I have subwoofers under the backseat but I will be soon upgrading to Infinity Kappa components all the way around.

I actually have the exact setup that the OP is talking about, the alpine amp and 2 sets of KS68's. It does sound a lot better than stock, but I definitely think that components up front would sound better. It would help to have the tweeters higher than your leg is because where the stock speakers are the vocals and highs get blocked by your legs. I'm likely going to be getting a set of components in the near future...just gotta figure out which ones I want to go with.

The KTP-445 is awesome if you want to save space and want a quick and easy sounding system. I have an extra KTP-445 if you're intested that's a month old with BB warranty.

I love the Boston Acoustics SE50's for non-amped applications, and the SR50's for amped systems. Bostons tend to be "brighter" in the tweeter section than other speakers, but I think they sound great. I've never heard anyone complain about the Kicker DS68.2's, though. They are drop in replacements and don't need any adapters. You can run those with or without amps, as well.

I have kicker 11ks65.2 components in front and the rear, both amp'd with a kicker 12" sub sounds amazing. Components def give you the super high pitch signals and clearity.
