Default 4 Front Firing 8's. Need opinions

Hey all, I just ordered 4 DC audio 8" subs and am planning on doing the front firing under my back seat (I figure I can get roughly .5 cu ft per sub) with a 3.5K DC Audio amp (I have a powerbass extreme right now, but I'll be upgrading eventually). And one thing I'm wondering about is how should I place them? I was thinking of having the placement similar to the video posted below. But another thought I had is putting 2 in the center reverse mounted, with one on each end mounted regular. Or should I have all 4 evenly spaced? I would draw up some pictures to show what I'm getting at, but I'm lazy right now. If anyone else has some ideas fell free to throw them out there

I did the same idea last week with 2 8W7s...

I saw a box on ebay with 4 8"s in it from seller rodneyt and was wondering how it would sound. I had his box with 2 down firing 10's in my 09 crew cab but I'm looking to put something different in the new one. IIRC his box with the 4 8"s were up firing.

They sound great... Still getting broken in... I wanted to try 4-8"s but not enough airspace for the W7s..

Have you got a link for that? I plan on using a box design that I found on here for my build. I'm also planning in going front firing to maximize my airspace because I won't need to put in a spacer to allow for excursion on the subs.

Has a space built in in the middle for the amp.

That's pretty sweet. My amp would definitely not fit in that amp rack though. haha. RMS on these DC 8's is 600W. So the 3.5K is going to put me about halfway between RMS and Peak.

That guy also makes this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-2012-Fo...item53eb469da6 which is set up like the one you want to build and like dmbriche posted. I might go with this one...that 1 kicker 8L7 should be more than enough for me.
