Default 4 DC 8's, DC 3.5K installed (pics)

Fiiiiiinnnaaaaaalllyyyy!!!! DC amps came in the other day and as the title mentions, I now have 4 DC Audio Lvl2M2 8's running off of a DC Audio 3.5K. I still have a ton of work to do (new box, Big 3, components, etc...) but it sure is nice to finally have some bass again! And man, do these little buggers move a HUGE amount of air! I was starting to lose faith in DC because of how long it took me to get their amps, but definitely worth the wait.

Not the greatest lighting (aka, really crappy), so I'll try to get some better pics later.

2" seat lift allows for a unique amp mounting solution.

I never heard of DC audio but then again I have been out of the big audio for a while now. That's really impressive numbers 3500 watts at. 12v and 5000 watts from 18v. Wow-. And I just checked the level 6 18" sub. Magnet weighs 80 lbs. I'd really love to hear one of there competition vehicles. If you don't mind me asking what did that 3.5k amp cost you? I don't see any prices. I'm gonna guess 1500?

I hadn't heard about them either until this past spring. A buddy of mine became a sales rep for them. And ya, I've heard those level 6's are ungodly beastly. haha. I had a 15" XL before these 8's, and that thing was massive too! What really impresses me is that these 8's weigh roughly 20lbs a piece!!! As far as cost, I think it was somewhere around 800-900 ish... I bought a lot of stuff (2 175.4's, 4 sets components, etc... haha) at the same time so I can't remember exact pricing

Ya, he gave me a pretty good price. haha. I'm part of the audio club he started locally, so we all get a pretty good deal. As far as the box, I did not build it myself. I would have no idea how to build it either... hahaha. I bought it off the DC Audio Rep for Alberta. He built it specifically for these subs, and knows what he's doing. He's got a 160+ DB van (with 2 DC Neo 18's), and helped do the initial build design on the DC Neo's, so his knowledge is faaaaar more extensive than mine... lol.

The lvl 6 is incredible but most people don't really have the equipment to really power it to its full potential, can't go wrong with anything dc!

Ha ha. Ya, one guy has 4 XL 18's in his truck. We've got a DB drag event tomorrow so it should be interesting to see what he's hitting (he's tested, but won't tell anyone numbers. lol)

As of right now, stock. When I do upgrade it's probably going to be to a Mechman.

Nice choice going with Mechman. I run a 220 Mechman on my excursion, I run dc power engineering alts on my f150 tho, 2 290's.

Goodluck at your comp, take lots of pictures. I havnt been able to compete in a while, making me get the itch again lol
