300 dollar sub/amp setup need suggestions
Looking to do a budget subwoofer for around 300 dollars a single 10 under my rear passenger seat in my 2012 screw just wondering if this is possible at this price this would also need to include wiring etc. or harness and box, any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks in advance, would like to stay away from powered sub combos unless it's a 10

When u say rear passenger seat... do u mean rear seat in general or does the box have to be on the passenger side???
I went with a fox box under the rear seat on the driver side with an infinity ref 10"... SSL 1200watt amp under the rear seat on the passenger side and a generic 4 gauge wiring kit and it ran me around 250 after taxes and shipping.
Its not as loud as some of the JL stuff that I've heard but it definitely hits hard. Wasn't completely impressed at first but now that the sub is broken in, I couldn't be happier

The fox box is product F150-110-04 from here: http://www.foxacoustics.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=25
I got the rest from amazon...
Sub:
Amp:
Wiring:
Your install will be based on the head unit u r connecting to... if you have an aftermarket HU, u can probably use the RCA cables in the wiring kit... if you have a factory HU just tap into the rear speaker's in the door sills. The SSL amp has speaker level inputs or RCA inputs so either way will work. The wiring kit listed only has a 17ft power wire so you have to go through the fire wall on the passenger side or else the wire wont be long enough... hope this helps

I had that same head unit when i first installed my system... I tapped into the rear speakers for my install. A Pac adapter would allow for a cleaner install. However, that will probably throw you over the 300 mark. I never had any issues tapped into the rear speakers, But I know a lot of people frown upon it.
Now that I have an aftermarket (pioneer 3200DVD) HU, I have listened to the sub wired both ways (wire taps and RCA cables) side by side and I honestly cant tell a difference.

Ok.. so you have the same set up as I do (did).
One idea would be to do a powered sub that accepts speaker level inputs, and has a good crossover. Then tap into the rear speaker for input. You'd need to run power to the back, but that's not that difficult.
Sound Ordinance has a good sub

I would go with a powered sub but I want more of a full sound wise, which a 10 seems like it can do and I have been thinking of just tapping into the rear speakers and using speaker level inputs on an amp seems easier than pulling out the head unit and running the rca leads, any other suggestions
