2016 F150 XLT OEM Custom Stereo Integration
I just bought my first F150 last month and being someone who always had a nice stereo I was very unsatisfied with the stock sound but loved the infotainment setup (still anxiously waiting the apple car play upgrade option...). (Sync 3, non-sony) System was replaced with:
Audison AP4.9 BIT 4-channel Amp (For front tweeters and 3" mids)
Audison AP4D 4- Channel Amp (for front 6.5 woofers and rear coax's)
JL AUDIO XD600 Sub Amp
AUDISON VOCE 6.5", 3" and 1 1/8" active 3-way system upfront
AUDISON VOCE 6.5" Coax in rear doors
JL AUDIO Stealth box with a 13" TW5 at 2-ohm
After tuning the system for about an hour I got to the point where I was happy with the sound. The quality of the gear and the BIT drive software from Audison is phenomenal and the low-end output from the JL equipment is substantial. I love how I can tune the system specifically for my listening position and do all the adjustments and time correction. Tweeters crossed at 2k+ which really has brought the front stage significantly up. 3" mids tuned 500-2k, 6.5 woofers crossed 80-500. rear coax's highpassed at 80. Sub low passed at 80. All 24DB butterworth crossover. Had to turn the tweeter level down a notch or two. It definitely makes driving now a much more enjoyable experience.

Butterworth
I have always love the warmer sound of the butterworth crossovers. Nice setup,as I am working on something for my 2015 f150 towards the end of the year. Do you plan on dyna-matting any of the doors?

Great install, super jealous, looks great. Wanted to ask you if you retained the chimes/notifications when you upgraded. Do you still get them through the door speakers?
I upgraded my rig to JL all around and am using a JBL MS8. I lost all chimes/beeps/etc going to the speakers. Would you mind telling me how you wired at the HU?
Thanks

Rookie question -
I just bought a 2018 F150 Platinum with the B&O. I Lurked on these threads before I purchased, because i think the audio is terrible and read about the ZEN A2B. I am a long-time BMW owner and have generally been happy with the Harmon Kardon offerings especially in the X5/X6 and 6/7 series. Any suggestions for amplifiers/speakers to pair with the ZEN A2B.?
I'm not looking for a competition system. I just want to get back to the quality of my BMW/HK systems.
Thanks

Let me know if anyone needs pricing for JL Audio, or pretty much any major brand.

[quote=2016BoostedGreyGoose]Curious, are you going to be running these with passive crossovers or active crossovers? Because, if going active, you can buy the raw drivers individually through Hush or any morel retailer for cheaper than the 903 set with the passive crossover.
