It is a multi-channel amp with each channel crossed over. There are some good threads on here about upgrading the Sony system.

Does anyone know if the FOR-11CK will work with the 8" non sony screen? I am looking at adding the Alpine or Rockford mini amp and need to know if that harness will work.

Cheers,

Chris

Yes. I have one and the clarion amp in my truck. In fact I tore it out of my wrecked 14 and plugged it right in. I'm not even bothering with speakers for now as the stockers really wake up with the amp and the right settings (turn on speed sensitive volume if you haven't already).
