I always use a hard wire remote signal vs a signal sensing system. I tried running an amp with the signal sensing and had issues where if I turned the radio down for a min it would kick the amp off.

Did mine today, works like a champ, but using a world class processor which helps. On/off with stereo...perfectly.

I used the front tweeters, front doors and the subwoofers for my inputs. The helix lets you sum it all up for whatever you're trying to accomplish. Disconnected the rears and the center channel. I'm all about proper staging.

Where did you grab em, did you go at the amp under the console, or behind the deck?

I'm wanting to use all channels from the sony and havent figured out where to add a sum device for all channels. Ill end up with 2 to 3 amps

The SONY amp is located behind the rear seats. That is where I grabbed my inputs straight to the Helix mounted next to the SONY amp.
