Default 2015 subs not loud enough

Hello. I am posting because I installed subs In my 2015 f150 lariat Sony. I installed 2 kicker comp rts that I had in my old Silverado but they don't hit nearly as hard as they used to. The only thing that's changed is the box, but I don't think it should be a big deal. I disconnected my factory sub and connected the wires Into a lc2i, for there it goes into an epicenter and then into a kicker amp. The subs are are 400 rms each at 2ohms. My amp is 1200rms at 2 ohms. My gain is at about 1/4 because anything higher it starts to clip! I had the same set up in my Silverado except the only difference was that I used a cheap LOC and I'm using a different box.

Can anyone help? Should I get my signal from a different place like a door speaker? By the way I hooked up the 2 negative and the 2 positive cables coming from the factory amp and tied them In that way.

Box is not a small detail. That could easily be the whole problem there. What changed exactly between boxes?

One box was for the Silverado and this one is built for the f-150.

Air space difference? Ported vs sealed?

Im not sure on the air space difference, but both boxes are sealed. I've even tried a ported box but I'm still having the same issue.

Into a lc2i, for there it goes into an epicenter

Both of these will affect the level. Before you used a LOC that didn't have a level control. Eliminate one or both and see what happens.

With the LC2i having the Accubass I wouldn't think you would need the Epicenter. I would personally take the Epicenter out and see what you get with just the LC2i.
