I haven't read any threads yet. like I said I had a 13 Sony build and I ran it hard for 8 months with zero issues. I used the front mid and rear outputs though, I did not use the tweets - but at that time I was also not doing an active setup.

OP: have you looked at the molex connectors in the doors yet?

So my build has been delayed due to missing tweeter brackets....

I can't find my supplied tweeter mounts for my Hertz HSK165...i've been in contact with them and i'm attempting to get a set from them as i cannot find ANYTHING on-line....

If any of you have a solution, please share!

thanks

If you're putting them in the factory spot you could try to fabricate something like these.

Some people use hot glue or build a small bracket that holds them in. Depends on the size of the aftermarket tweeters.....

Got my tweeter mounts in and half installed!

Here's what I did for the molex plug...

I trimmed just a little at the bottom and it allowed my 14ga wire to pass through

I will finish the install with the resistors tomorrow

Thank you for the information but I'm not sure I understand the picture - are you having speaker wire run outside the boot? Or you trimmed both molex plugs? Sorry if I worded that confusing I really do appreciate your help.
