Been looking through the forums but can't seem to find a solid answer. I want to replace the rear speakers using the existing speaker basket. I know people have had success using the DB 651s but I am unable to find these in Canada. Does anyone know if the DB651 will fit in the rears doors using this method? Or will they interfere with the grill.

Can not say for sure. When I ordered mine from Crutchfield, their fit guide called for the 651s in both front and back so that is what I went with. Not sure if Crutchfield ships to Canada or not. I also have seen the S on Amazon. I ordered from Crutchfield becase they include the mounting brackets for free.

Installed Polk db571 in front and rear doors. Fits perfect. No issues.

Ended up with the Db651s just to be safe

I have db691 in the front and 6501 in the rear. No issues with fitment
