here's a question. my reverse camera shows a reverse image. any way i can correct that? also i committed a big screw up. after i forgot to put the am/fm radio antenna in and find out where it is thanks to this forum, i made a big boo boo. the 2 connectors for the traction control and hazard lights were stuck. no matter how hard i tried moving the clip to remove the connector it would not budge. i literally had to break the clips on both connectors to remove them. it was a huge pain in the butt. everything worked great before then. now after i installed the antenna and put it all together the hazard and traction control on off buttons don't work. i give up. i am able to slide the connectors in with force but the buttons now don't work. i know the prongs are touching the connector. and before you ask, yes i put them the right way. but for some reason it would be difficult to put on and take off.
The hazard and traction button on mine went in like butter, sounds either your connection was forced in the wrong way?? Either way, the buttons had nothing to do with the dash kit other than transferring it from oem console to the dash kit...the connections only go in one way, if they can't be used, youll have to try to repair them or replace them... tasca auto a site vendor can probably get the part's....good luck

Forgot to mention.. I can't remember which plugs, but a few of them have a release lever that when pivoted 90 degrees would open or lock the connector in place, some others are a pain... once you see how they work its easy as Monica....before that, they can be hard to figure how to release them.
There are a couple online videos of guys pulling the dash open and some show how to release the plugs

Anyone else getting this?
The engine start/stop does not work properly relative to inside cab temperature (while heating or AC):
During the last super cold spell TX had (around 12-17°F), I noticed this. I was sitting in a warmed-up truck with heat on full blast in Drive with foot on the brake, heater warming just fine.... and like it should, the engine does shut off. The longer I sat there, I noticed the blowing air got colder and colder. I let it go to see how long it would take to kick the engine back on and blow hot again. After a couple of minutes, I couldn't stand it anymore, the truck was blowing out super-cold air but the truck never started itself back up until the display read "vehicle charging", meaning it kicked on to maintain charge but not temperature.
The exact same goes with the AC:
Later, we had some warmer days, so, truck in Drive with foot on the brake, AC on, fan full blast and temp all the way cold. The engine shuts off. BUT: The truck gets hotter and hotter inside and the air blowing out the vents is uncooled, and the engine never starts back up until engine status display reads "vehicle charging" or whatever for battery charging.
So, is it just me? Am I smoking crack or has someone else had this?

As for the 2nd quote you made to Mudder,I can tell you with 100% certainty that part you showed is no where to be found in the install manual I received with my kit.
