I recently installed this http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130DSW2...&awmt=p&awnw=g prefab box behind the rear seat in my 15, had to cut carpet and padding out to get it to fit and allow the seat to fold up, but over all happy with it.

Can you post some pics? How much room with the seat up?

Thanks

Here is my thread on the installation with pictures. When the rear seat is folded up, the seatback just touches the plastic ring on the sub, but seat latches up fine with no force needed.

I'm cracking up how he said that he would post measurements, multiple times, and come to find out (after reading 15 pages), he never did. Bummer for all those who waited patiently =(.

Hey Dude, I don't want to be an *** here but you're the one that said you'd give the measurement. More than a few times I think. Don't kill the messenger.

Well I just had a 12 inch sub put in my truck behind the seat. The speaker has to be at an angle and could be done with MDF, but it would require some weird config. Just because you get it to fit doesn't mean it will be usuable (needs to have the right cubic feet, no harsh angles/bracing, etc). I went to a custom shop to get them to do a fiberglass one and it worked out amazingly.

I agree, although he may not have been keeping up with it during the build which could be the reason. He could sell the plans and make a few $$ or just help forum members out.

I personally don't have the patience or expertise to make a box like this. I was simply saying I thought you'd post the measurements after saying you would multiple times, because of how great it turned out and how interested other members were.

For the sake of not turning this into a crap-throwing show, I'll just leave it at that.

Even this. I think quite a few people would've paid for the plans if you didn't want to help others for free.
