Don't be fooled by the picture, it is a stock photo of a super cab sub on both but the screw sub looks completely different.

Default Just to confirm....

This will fit a '13 with the upgraded Sony system with Sub even though it says it won't? I'm going full kit...

Thanks!!!
I don't think so. It is made as an addon to the base system. The upgrade kit you are looking at has an amp dsp unit. Your Sony already has the amp. The sub will work and you can upgrade the door speakers but not with this complete unit.

I got the complete sytem(which includes new door speakers) as opposed to the sub only, from Fairfield Ford in Ohio, for $600. I didn't ask the price of the sub only because I wanted the speakers. I suume the sub only would be around $300.

The eBay links above have the SCab priced at $260 shipped
and the CrewCab at $324 shipped. Both great deals.

You will enjoy the sound. It's a whole lot better than the factory speakers. Takes a little time to install it, not hard just time. Only part that might be a little hard is getting the door handle covers off. I watch a youtube vid and the tool the guy had to get the covers off. I didn't have, but eng something that worked great though.

well after looking at at 4 videos, 1 that shows you how to install speakers and 3 that show how to install amps and wiring. also read instructions. i got all installed in 2.5 hours, but took me a hour extra just to dismantle 1door twice to find the clip bolt that fell in the bottom of the door. it sounds very good to me. Thanks to all on this forum.

Another question regarding this kit... How does this affect the a pillar tweeters? Are they still functional? Do they need to be replaced? From what I can tell this is strictly door speakers
