2014 f150 xtr ecoboost help
Hey guys, I recently traded my '12 for the '14 ecoboost xtr with the non touch screen, with no factory sub or fancy speakers. I would like to put my amp and sub in, normally I upgrade to a aftermarket head unit. But I like the factory look and want to keep my sync Sirius ect.... Plus I like all the blue lights and the looks haha, not looking to buy a bezel and the expensive harness and an aftermarket deck this time. Obviously I would need the amp kit for the amp that's a given.
My question is can I use the soundstream bx-20z to stay with the stock head unit? Just hook the high inputs up to the rear speakers? Or am I mistaken and completely off the path lol.
Anyone done this? Or have input? Any help is appreciated I'm looking to order the part on Friday to have it in for my trip the following weekend.

It looks like you could use that piece, but I would use an audiocontrol Lc2i or even a regular Line Out Converter instead and tap the front speakers, not the rear. In my truck (13xlt) it seems like I have a fuller signal to the front, while the rear seems limited in the low range

Any of you have the speaker wire colors? I thought I seen it in the forum but can't seem to find it again, and then I found them on google only he goes so into depth about every wire leading to everything from nab to sync and hot wires and every type of stereo that I'm getting confused haha.
