2014 f150 xlt ecoboost audio upgrade
Hi: guys & gals
Ok I got the lc7i (loc), amp and 10" subs couple different questions I have remain after reading dozens of posts..(yes I have been reading lol) I have yet to find one that explains enough for me.. Some bits and pieces missing and had trouble tying in the different posts.
I plan on changing all the speakers out and adding a small amp to the factory speakers as well.
1. I understand to come from the back of the factory amp, and tie in there to feed the loc, but do I need a separate channel for the tweeters? or do I just come off the back speakers leave the tweeter wires alone and run new wires to the front, rear and subs? I assume if I'm coming off the back speakers to feed all speakers id simply make jumpers across the loc for inputs.?
2. I seen several pics of amps and stuff behind the rear seats mounted did yall have any problems with it over heating with that set up .
well thank you for any advice..

I put in an LC7I a couple weeks ago and spoke to them directly, because I have the sony 700w it was necessary to tap into the factory amp.
From there I tapped into the tweeters, front doors speakers and sub to provide the LC7i with a full frequency range.

first post..New 2014 f150 xlt super cab HD long bed
Do I need a line out converter when keeping factory radio? I'll be installing Alpine speakers in all doors with amp and stealth box for super cab on separate 500w Alpine amp. Any insite is appreciated, thanks.
