Random thought has anyone tried to replace the 4.5" screen set up with the Nav myford touch headunit? Is the Nav myford even worth the effort and price?
My main complaint is the f-ugly button setup and small arsed screen, I don't particually mind the rest.

It's just the way the kit is manufactured. When it's off the console you can see there's clearly enough room up top, behind the plate, to put the NAV unit up top and smaller SYNC screen down low but because of how the kit's electronics are placed in the Metra kit it just doesn't work. All of the Sync buttons are up top forcing you to put NAV unit down below and there's nothing you can do about it. Installer said that there are a couple of companies coming out with new kits as early as next month but I wouldn't hold my breath.
