Default 2013 tweeter size

I am going to replace the tweeter in the door pillar but I am having a hard time finding out just how big it is. Is anyone willing to share this info and maybe share what tweeter they used?

One of mine went out the other day but the dealership is taking care of it.

Not sure if you want to go aftermarket, but the guy in the link below put some Focal 1.5" tweeters in and set it sounds way better. See below.

You can fit any size tweeter, in the stock location. Just be willing to modify the stock tweeter opening. Others have done it, to fit slightly larger tweeters.

I replaced the stock sonys, with Infinity reference x. No modification required.

Does anyone happen to know the max mounting depth? Is there a lot of room in there, or only a little?

Thinking about doing some raw drivers and active crossovers. Specifically looking at these: http://www.parts-express.com/tymphan...eter--264-1034

And some Silver Flute 6.5 wool cone mid bass.

Agreed. Looking forward to getting them installed! They play low, too, so I should be able to play around with crossover points and imaging fairly easily. Can't wait!
