I meant to also say I'm still going going bigger with 6 15in subs in the bed of the truck. If money is right I will order 6 JL subs and amp all at once.

So I had the JL 8W7 installed yesterday and amp along with component hertz 5x7 in the front doors and in the back doors as well. It looks and sounds amazing. I will be going back inarching to get either 2 w3 8 inch subs under the seat or 2 more jl tw13.5 in the back. But that really would be overkill. This 8inch woofer in the middle kicks ****.

Is that a box for the 8w7 built into your stock console? If so, Id love to see some more detail. Ive been thinking about ditching my jumpseat and getting a stock console and doing that. Or going full custom console

It's hooked up to a kenwood xr9005. Hertz 5x7 mid+tweeter components esk570 up front and in the rear hertz ecx570.

How is the sub vented out of the console?

Wow dude that's awesome. I'm assuming it's a sealed box? And do you get a lot of rattle with this setup?

There is no rattle, there is hush mat inside of the console. The sub is vented. There is a slot open along the side of the box. I'll take a pic of it later today.

I am planning a TS-SW841D in the console. I was thinking I might loose more console space then I wanted to, if I went with a deeper sub then the TS-SW841D.

I assume your box is vented and the console is not? Is it a full box that slips in the console, or something else?
