Default Great Video on Maestro AR (Sony owners need to watch)

This is a great video about all the problems that Sony owners go through. My installer told me about it today and said Rockford Fosgate's DSR1 (MSRP $250) is going to be worth a look.

OK, so this thing seems amazing for the short amount of money that it costs... so where's the catch? $100 + $40 for the vehicle specific wiring harness is peanuts... why is the RF DSR1 going to cost $250 instead?

Thanks for the post

EDIT: So after reading around... there's currently a single amplifier that's compatible with it? and it's a kenwood 6 channel 600w amp for $799?

What are the other options for working with this device that don't cost $800 for an amp?

it appears that output is analog via "16 Pin Analog Output Harness". I pre ordered one so I will update the forum once we get it installed and configured.

Any amp should work with it.

Hell yea, please do. I'm very interested. I did some more reading last night and the Rockford Fosgate unit is a DSP/Maestro AR in one unit, alleviating the need for a digital signal processor in the Amplifier. All I know is if I can land myself a nice sound system using this as the means to keep my truck functioning like normal, I'm in

Good luck and post pics of the install if you can!
