So idk how you guys feel about your guys Sony audio in your guys trucks but any idea how to make the speakers more louder? Maybe an amp or is there something else that I should know? I feel like they aren't as loud as they should be compared to other competitors out there stock wise

I would suggest doing a lot of reading on this forum about the deficiencies of the Sony system. All your questions will be answered

Louder? An alpine in line amp did well on my last truck. Forgot to remove when I traded her in. Doh!

I don't have the Sony system but I was not happy with the sound that my stock unit produced. As I am waiting for new solutions to be produced by Maestro etc, I decided to do something to improve what I have until other options are available.
I bought a component set of aftermarket speakers for the truck and let me tell you I was blown away with the improvement that took place. Even with my unsophisticated ears the sound was clear and marked.
Easy to install and well worth the afternoon it took to put in place.
