2013 F150 Maestro Kit Install
#4
Install pics.
The kit has the dash kit, wiring, brackets, and you need a Maestro. Programming is fairly straight forward on the internet. Wiring guide can be downloaded for proper connections.
Connect stereo harness to Maestro harness, then connect fittings and install.
Just finished install, so I am not familiar with Kenwood coming from Pioneer.
In the next week or so I will be selling the Metra kit, wiring, and stereo/with sat receiver, if anyone is interested in a inexpensive F150 kit.

The wait is killing me. Looks great. One question. Did you hook up the front hdmi and usb plugs? How long od extension cables are needed for them from the radio? Is 6" enough?

Another fitment issue with cables is that the stereo is fixed in place and you must connect the cables with the dash off. You have to have some room to work. I would say that 12" as a minimum, but 14-18" would be best. You must go around the stereo and the dash "pocket".

I was referring to the plugs built into the kit. The two usb, hdmi, and 3.5 seen in this pic below. 12+ inches just sounds like a lot since its right under the radio.
