2013 Crew Cab - Tap into Factory Sub Wiring
I want to add an amp/sub to the factory system .. I have the sync/nav/sub.
My question is how is the factory sub (under the seat) wired? It would be easy to install a line out converter right next to the factory sub .. but I'm not sure if they are actually high output lines?
Have those wires already been converted from another factory amp somewhere? or .. are they high output wires that need a converter?
Am I making sense? I want to leave the factory sub in place and just add a mono amp/10" sub to the system. Can I not tie into those wires instead of making tie-ins to the door speakers?

No offense .. I have seen thousands of the same posts .. over and over:
"how do I add an amp to my factory system"
"what do you use for the remote wire"
That's not what I'm asking .. but I think I found an answer on youtube where the guy kept the factory sub amp and added a PAC to the outputs from that amp ..
If anyone else needs help with this, you can check out this guys video. I would think that you could eliminate the factory amp all together and use the inputs that go to the factory sub amp .. those are likely high input and would still need a converter. This would potentially eliminate the need to tap into the panel speakers.

As you discovered, those are still high output and do need a LOC. I've got the complete wiring diagrams for the 2012 models, if you need some details(realizing it's not an exact match and could be wrong).

Line out for 2013 f150 lariat super crew.
I have a 2013 F150 Lariat super Crew. It did not come with an amp and subwoofer. What do I need to get a line out to my amp and where should I get the feed. Someone told me an sni-35 will work. Any suggestions?

Since you don't have the sony system, best place is to tap right behind the head unit. I think the FOR-11ck harness would work but don't quote me on that for the 2013. I don't know if the radio module is that plug or the older style still (It switched sometime in 2013/14)
