2012 supercrew dual 10s
Ok so I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on a new system.
-----------------
A box from rodney's boxes on ebay
2 kicker comp vt 10s (4 ohms) (400w rms each)
Pioneer GM-D9601 amplifier
EFX PA4BX Wiring Kit (4 gauge)
-----------------
Calling all tech-heads... what else would I need to wire it into my factory system such as speaker wire and other stuff. My truck is a 2012 supercrew with sony system (700w sub, which I will remove) and navigation.
Thanks guys, I appreciate the help.

You'll want to pick up this

Let's you just plug into the existing wiring harness without any splicing and run rcas right to the amp if needed.

Get something besides kickers. They are made to perform in large ported boxes not small volume sealed boxes which is likely what you'll be using. Check out sundown audio or digital designs. And I'm not bashing kicker, I've owned a lot of their subs and amps. But they aren't what they once were.

I just switched from the JL Audio Microsub w/ the 8w3v3 to the dual 8s and I'm really impressed with it. Using the same amp as w/ the dual 8s you get 2ohm.
The box is made by JL and it's ported. I thought it was a pretty hard setup to beat.

OP I was told by a guy on her (King Nothing) that one of the best to use is the audiocontrol lc2i. "It has a bass restoration circuit to help with the bass rolloff at higher volumes."-King Nothing's words
Just purchased mine today. Waiting for it to get here.
