I'm looking to replace the unit in my '11 early in the new year. Either in January or February. See if the '11 will suit your needs- maybe consult with people on here, or contact your dealer. Send me an email here, and I'll let you know how things are developing.
You may have to wait a bit, but there will be no phone damage...

I dont believe there were any changes in that department from 11 to 12. But I could certainly find out. Only bad thing is, youre in canada. That might make shipping a PITA. But I will definitely be in touch with you about it.

Id rather just replace it with an OEM unit. No one out there has taken out their factory Sony Nav unit to upgrade to an aftermarket?
