2012 Kicker Upgrade XLT Factory Deck HELP!!!!
I recently bought the kicker upgrade that just comes with the wiring, Sub and Amp together. NO NEW SPEAKERS. I am currently having problems with the sub working. I cant get the sub to work I have power all the way back to the sub.
Every Time I hit the breaks the sub hits... I don't understand what is going on. Any help is greatly appreciated. I followed the directions for the soundgate kicker upgrade. Ran the wire up the passenger side.
I connected the brown wire from the adapter harness to the White/ Purple Wire and the green wire of the adapter harness to the white / orange wire like posted in the directions!

If the sub only hits when you apply the brake, it would seem you have the power wired to the brake lights. I've read a thread that the OP was having issues finding the correct power feed wires. Use a multimeter and test the wires you tapped into.
