I have the 6 disk, sync, no nav, not sony I was look for something to greatly improve sound without breaking the bank so after lots of looking I got these
MTX Thunderform with 10" sub no amp on e bay 299.00 free shipping
JL audio C5-570 for front C5-570x for rear $650.00 for both sets on amazon
2 set menta wire kit and 1 PAC interface around $50.00
MTX amp had this around the house.
Use factory head unit
Spent around 6 hours today installing with help from my 2 sons..... I must say this set up sounds amazing. The JL speakers fit perfect and crossovers not to bad to find space.
Thunderform fit great under rear drivers seat, amp under rear pass. seat, wanted to mount behind rear seatbacks but did not see enough room after looking for 30 minutes finding the release for rear seat backs.
The PAC interface is also great.
I know this is not the greatest or best audio systems but for the cost it will satisfy most looking for a upgrade to what really was a very bad sounding factory unit
