Default 2011 mounting depths in doors?

What sort of mounting depth are we working with in these supercrews, front and rear?

Both the Boston 6.5" components in my front doors and the Infinity Kappa's in the back doors have a top mount mounting depth of 2 - 7/16" so just barely under 2.5" and they fit just fine. I'm not sure how much more depth is possible, but these fit without issue.

Yo dude! There's quite a bit of room. I upgraded to Infinity's. Components in the front and co-axial in the rear and it's a pretty cavernous space.

Installed the Infinity kappa components in 2011 scab and had to use 1/4 inch plate behind them , window kept hitting and it flipped out the safety feature.

Interesting. I don't have any problems at all...

I circumvented the whole ground level sound stage by cutting an Infinity 4" into the center of the dash. I've pulled the sound stage to ear level and couldn't be happier

I just recently installed new speakers in my 2012 Ford F150 Supercrew. I installed Infinity 6832's in the back and Infinity Kappa 680.9cs in the front. I had no issues in the back; however, the Kappa 680.9cs conflicted with the window in the front door. As the window rolled down, it would push the speaker out. I ended up making my own spacers and corrected the problem.
