Factory amp is under center console, these are the outputs from the Sony amp.

Half hour with a multimeter and answered what I couldn't find.

Center:
+ green
- gray/yellow

Driver tweeter:
+ green/orange
- gray/orange negative

Driver mid:
+ white
- white/brown

Passenger tweeter:
+ purple/orange
- yellow/orange

Passenger mid:
+ white/purple
- white/orange

Driver rear door:
+ white/green
- brown/yellow

Passenger rear door:
+ brown/white
- brown/blue

DVC Subwoofer:
+ purple/green
- green/white
&
+ green/purple
- gray

On speaker terminals, clip side is positive

Awesome! Guessing you will be wiring these to a summing device? LC6, 360 or other?

Thank you for posting these. I was finally able to hook up my sub from my old truck this weekend. Tapped the wires in the passenger side rear door and ran them to an AudioControl LC2i.

Just curious why you decided to use the door speaker wire instead of the factory sub wires?

Was wondering if you have the wiring color code for the ford factory sony 700W subwoofer/amp combo. I am trying to add this system to my non-sony 2011 Lariat and found out that there is no separate wiring harness for the sub as it is integral with the factory wiring harness on vehicles that came with sony upgrade from the factory.

SkierMan how did the MS-8 work for you? I'm wanting to add that to my 2012 SCREW w/ Nav and Sony. Pretty expensive but I'll bite if it's worth it.

It worked out great. I was a bit of a experiment but JBL was great through out. You'll need this a mini fuse add a circuit like this to add to the retained accessory power circuit.

It's a delay timer you'll need to prevent the MS8 from turning on right away and allowing the factory amp to turn on since there's no way of allowing the MS8 to turn on the factory amp. If you don't add a delay, the speakers will pop every time you turn on the truck. I recommend this delay turn on, because it limits the amount of amperage through it, and won't fry the sensitive MS8 turn on circuit.

Depending on what you want to do, its really a pretty awesome piece. Mine is under the passenger side seat. DO NOT SCREW THE MS8 INTO THE CARPET,, use velcro. The can bus system runs under the seat, and if you screw into, you'll regret it.

Buy a 10 gauge amp kit, run the power from the battery, down the frame rail and under the truck. My truck had a rubber grommet under the truck right in front of the passenger seat that the power wire comes up through. The ground you run to the passenger kick panel. The fuse panel unscrews and folds back, giving you access to a factory ground.

You'll need to slide the console back and grab the driver/passenger side front tweeter/mid and cut all the others.

Basically I want to clean up the factory system. Contrary to many I'm pleased overall with the Sony system. Sure it lacks in places, but not enough for me to tear into and replace it. Is that what you did? Just added the JBL and left everything else? If so where did you put it, physically and in relation to the system?
