Thanks man, i appreciate it! Look forward to hearing back....I am going to start a thread once this build starts next week as it should really be nice. Alot of custom fabbing on the door panels with using factory leather and stitching to keep it real classy!

Default molex

Hey guys, my installer started my install today and he said that we need to drill new holes in the doors for the three way active setup i'm putting in the doors. Can i fit 14g speaker wire through the molex plug? How if so? I have to feed 8 wires through (i'm doubling up and running a four conductor to the midbass) If so what is the most factory looking loom and will i have leak issues?

Default started install

Ok guys, the install is on its way to completion. I am puzzled however by the factory sony amp wiring that has been described. In a few posts it stated that the front blue plug was from the factory head unit, the middle was all speakers but sub, and the rear was the sub. I do have the same exact findings with the middle plug (i hope as i dont really know how to check until powered on), but my sub wires are on the front blue plug i think, because the green, violet with green, grey and green and white i think (going off memory) are the same wires in the same configuration that are on the factory sub plug in the rear. This is how i hooked it up today as i dont really know how to check it. So, what is the rear plug for? and what are the other few wires ( black and such) on the front plug? Does this sound like i have this connected correctly? I think that most people were either connecting just new front are rear stage and keeping factory sub or just adding a sub. Please help with this as i am finishing wiring tomorrow. Also, i will post this indepth custom install within the next few days....can't wait to hear it. Also, my truck is a 2012, but the color coding seems the same as the 2011 described.

Hey sorry to hear your having some problems with the color coding but when I did mine I was able to find a pdf file on this forum with the the exact wire colors and specs you need. I can't seem to find it on my pc anymore but I'm sure if you do a search on here maybe you could find it again.best of luck and am looking foward to seeing the system.

I was thinking about the 6829cf kappa and would need 1/4" spacers.
