Default 2011 F150 FX4 CC speaker advice please!

Looking to upgrade my speaker system, finally! Basic radio with Sync. I'm not looking to thump around the neighborhood. Looking for a nice, clean sound with some bass. Hearing a bit about Hertz. Are they worth it? Chinese made? Not looking to add an amp. Budget for front and rear is set at $3-400. Thanks fellas!

Check out the Polks and Infinity. Well within your budget.
Hertz are great but I would amp them

You don't, but they'll sound soo much better connected to one rated around 75Wx4! As the oem HU probably only puts out around 12-14Wx4

Im not sure why infinity has such a large following here. Every infinity speaker Ive ever heard has been so bright it hurt my ears.

King, that's a bit of what I'm afraid of. I don't want too much high. I'm looking for something even across the board with some good bass. I honestly don't know **** about speakers....Lol. any help is appreciated. Thx

You need to stop by an audio shop or even a Best Buy and listen for yourself. Your ears may like something that saves you some bucks under your budget rather than ordering something and not liking them.

Of course your ears could like something higher end and you'll blow the budget apart. I have lots of experience with this aspect.
