Default 2010 stereo upgrade

I am planning a full stereo upgrade in my 2010 lariat. I have the factory nav/sync/sony system. I want to keep the factory headunit nav/sync but trash the sony stuff. My question is if i replace all the speakers and add an amp on them where will the sync voice come from. I know on my Silverado when i replaced everything they had to add a speaker for my onstar voice. I dont want that to happen. If that is the case i will keep everything and replace the sub only. Any experience with this from anyone else?? Thanks.

If you need a sub box design lmk!

I don't think you'd have issue with the voice coming on if it comes through the door speakers, if you're using a line out converter. All it does is take the signal that is being sent to your speakers and produces it into a signal the amp can use. Good thinking getting rid of the sony stuff.

Pretty sure SYNC comes through the front speakers. I think you'll be fine.

do you plan on running new speakers with an amp and sub with an amp? if so i would recommend taking a look at the Rockford Fosgate 3SIXTY.1/.2 or the JBL MS-8 for OEM integration. this will allow you to cancel out the horrible factory eq that ford programs into the vehicle.

it will not affect your SYNC system as everything will work like it was stock but you will gain all the benefits of running an aftermarket head unit while keeping a factory appearance

What would be the best speakers to add to the truck? I was thinking of something not to fancy like the "Polk Audio db571"?

Yeah I plan on using some kinf of OEM intergration like the 360, or Mtx REq. I havent figured out what speakers i am going to run though. I will probably go with a single sub and mount my amps opposite of the sub under the seat. Dont want alot of bass just an improvement over stock. What size tweeters on in the pillars. should i replace them also or leave them alone??

personally i would run some 6.5" componets up front and matching 6x8s in the back. budget would determine what speakers would be best to use
