I THINK we may be saying the same thing. The idea is that I would be compensating for the roll off by adjusting the sub(which, in this case, is also the amp) by using the remote **** at higher volumes when the rolloff occurs.

Am I totally missing something or are we saying the same thing?

Ok, got my parts in this evening. Now, if there are 4 wires that are the output of the amp running into the sub, can I cut them and rewire them to make the high power input on the B8?

If so, all I would need is power and ground, right?

Doesn't matter, not getting the power LED. Easy to assume its a defective unit but I guess there is one more fuse on the sub I can swap despite the fact that it looks unblown.

Let's assume for now that the only things connected are the power and ground. I should still at least get a power LED, right?

No you can not cut them

You need constant power, ground and turn on power
