Ok...what those dials do, is adjust the gains of the music signal going to the amp. Yes you can adjust those. Usually the farhter clockwise you turn those, the more gain you will give the signal (the louder/higher the signal will be)

This is where is might get a little complicated...... What you want to bascially do is have your radio volume set to like 3/4 volume. then you want to match the gain levels of that PAC harness, which means you want to have the highest level you can with out any distortion. This is where that earphone comes in handy...bc you can attache the earphone to the end of the RCA (right by the PAC unit) and adjust the gain level till the music is clear, but not distorted! once you do all 4 channels, then you know you have the cleanest signal going through the RCA's (make sure your RCA arent connected into the amp while you are setting these gains.

Once your done setting the PAC gains, then reconnect the RCAs into the amp, and then you have to set the AMPS gain while the head unit volume is at 3/4.

Ok so thanks to TimelessR1 its all in and good to go, sometimes things can seem way harder than they really are when frustration sets in and new electronics are bad to begin with. and by the way the amp was from crutchfield and they are helpful as well, the sent out a new amp before I even sent the first one back, and shipping is asap. Thanks crutchfield

so I did the pac harness for the factory head unit, 4 new kicker door speakers 6x8, and a sound ordinace 4 channel amp, so its in and plays. I wouldnt say the sound quality sucks but its not what I expected, I am not happy with the set up, I dont believe its any of the components fault I just think that instead of rear door speakers I should have added a sub, without the sub I think its just lacking!!

soo,, i will be removing the rear speakers here shortly and putting in a sub

let you know how it goes
Thanks

Did you set the Crossover on the amp? the front channels should be set HP and the rear bridged channels that you have going to the sub should be LP
