2010 F150 XL Head Unit change
we're about to take delivery of a 2010 F150 XL, but it comes with the integrated AM/FM stereo.
Does anyone know how to go about swapping this out for a single DIN head unit?
In the '06 we just swapped out the double din for a new unit, but this truck has the integrated stereo with the dash piece built for it.

yea did my stx. go to cartoys and get the ford interface controller. it will not work with out it. then its all plug and play. the dash wont tell the stations anymore but it does light up built ford tough and it stays on.

were did u get ur dash kit from and does it come with all the ***** and stufff or did soem one need to mod it please do tell

had to order mine...but it was awhile back when they first came out. its just whole center dash pice and u swap the electronics from the factory center dash peice to the new one. easy swap. 3 bolts on the dash peice and 4 on the radio.
